    Every voter knows that the League of Nations is an European Institution, conceived in Europe by European diplomats. The Democrats believe the time has come when America can no longer shape her own destinies, but should allow Europe to handle them. The Republicans are of the opposite opinion, and believe the United States is just as able to manage her own affairs as she was in 1776, in 1812, 1861 and in 1917.
