"With hearts no loner fortified with these animating reflections, we most solemnly, before God and the world, declare, that, we will no longer exert the utmost energy of those powers, which our beneficent Creator hath graciously bestowed upon us and that American's are egnoring today, destroying the arms we have been compelled by our enemies to assume in our great past, will no longer, no long defying every hazard, with out unabating firmness and perseverance will no longer employ action for the preservation of our liberties; being with supidity of mind are now resolved to to live as slaves." - - TGT Clough
